Our Story
What can we say, we love wine! It's safe to say our interest in everything wine has developed over many years of working in the hospitality / entertainment industry. After all, everyone can be "trained" on the basics of wine, right? But after two decades of various retail and specialty foods experiences, our interest has turned into a full blown passion.
A mutual interest for finding unique boutique wines from around the world has become our mission! Pairing wine with our own culinary creations and sharing these experiences with friends and family continually brings immense joy and gratification to our lives.
That being said, every major life event that we have experienced has only been greater because of food, wine, and great company. By opening our new shop, launching a user friendly website, and introducing a one of a kind wine club, we hope to create our own little culture of wine and food lovers who bring a little piece of World Wine Shop to all of your own special life events!
We believe the best way to experience wine is to demystify it. No wine snobbery from us. That's why so many of our customers fondly refer to us simply as "the wine guys." We welcome your feedback and suggestions! It's our motivation to always bring something new to the "dinner" table.
