There is so much more to this bottle of wine than just another pretty bottle.  Over the last few decades, New Zealand's Marlborough Valley has established itself as one of the leading "savvy" growing regions in the world. The natural, straightforwardness of Huru Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc makes it easy to drink, especially for beginners. This complex wine has a full bouquet of fruit flavors, including pink grapefruit, mango, passionfruit, and lime.

ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT
The New Zealand men's rowing pair of Eric Murray and Hamish Bond took their second Olympic gold in the Rio Summer Olympics! Possibly the greatest team in rowing history.  Murray and Bond have won 69 successive races at elite level in the men's coxless pair, with their record in that boat featuring two Olympic golds, six world championships and 16 World Cup triumphs.  Congratulations to these amazing athletes for their Olympic gold and the stellar achievements they have made in their winning career!

Looking for something refreshing to serve at your 4th of July BBQ? We recommend the perfect summer white, Sauvignon Blanc - (So-vin-Yawn-Blonk).

This dry white wine grape offers distinctive flavors of citrus fruit melon fig herbs and sometimes grassiness.  Typically light crisp and full of fruit originally from France it now thrives through out the new world in California New Zealand and Chile.

There are three distinctive flavor profiles and styles that one will recognize when tasting this white wine.

The fruity style which often has no oak influence boast loads of citrus fruit like grapefruit and lemon flavors.

Grassy... think aromas of fresh cut grass and flavors if fresh herbs.

The last category is oak aged creating a creamier style hinting smoke and vanilla.

We love the slighter style of this perfect summer white pairing perfectly with:
Fruity: Shrimp,scallops,mussels
Grassy: Grilled vegetables, soft cheese, pate'
Creamy: Grilled chicken, tuna steaks, sharp hard cheese, artichokes

Stop by the shop to sample our top picks for the summer!
