Perfectly paired with Tangerine Ginger Sake Sangria, make this fun and easy appetizer the talk of the patio party! 1-bag of quality frozen peas 1/2 cup toasted sesame seeds 2- cloves of fresh garlic 2tbs soy sauce 2- tbs prepared wasabi paste 1. Place all ingredients in a food processor 2. Process while pouring a steady thin stream of olive oil until forming the consistency of a smooth paste 3. Serve with rice crackers or your favorite tortilla chips Notes from Terry: Once you've made this spread you'll find its so easy to whip up in a flash. I've literally made it as guests are driving up to the house! It can also be made ahead and refrigerated for 2-3 days. A good variation is to substitute peas with shelled edamame, and my favorite is to add sriracha to kick it up a notch!

You opened a bottle of wine on Saturday night, you have one glass left -- and right around Wednesday evening you start thinking how you deserve a glass of wine to celebrate making it mid week. Should I drink the rest of the wine from Saturday? Or open a new bottle and face possibly that one going bad before the weekend when you want the rest of the bottle. As you can see from the chart, light white wines and Rose' are your best bet on longevity. Full bodied white wines like Chardonnay however don't last as long as say a Pinot Grigio. Red wines last typically 3-5 days once opened. Just make sure you put the cork back in and store in a cool place. If I know I'm not getting back to a bottle of good red for a few days, I stick it in the fridge. Did you know red wine is actually supposed to be served at between 60-70 degrees anyway? We like to store at room temp, but when opening a new bottle, we put it in the fridge for about a half hour to an hour before serving. Winter may be holding on for dear life, but we have a little something to bring a flush to your cheeks that tastes as good as the warm sun feels! 1 shot of Coconut Liqueur 4oz Cranberry Juice 2oz Pineapple Juice Lemon Lime Soda Instructions: Shake (except soda) with ice and strain over ice cubes into a collins glass. Fill with soda and garnish with a twist of lime. Located in the back of our shop is a gorgeous wine tasting table made locally from reclaimed wood. We launched the Wine Table Tastings concept back in October and are pleasantly surprised at the popularity of this unique gathering of friends, family, and even co-workers that we have seen over the last few months. Of course we have an incredible time hosting these fun events; after-all, we get to tell people "wine stories" and pair it all together with delicious little bites of cheeses and whatever else fits the mood for the particular bottles of wine we are presenting. We have seen groups of chatty women, (adult) families together for the holiday's, couples looking for something to do before their dinner reservation, and professional peers able to network outside of the typical business card exchange. We have serious types; and we have not serious at all types who humor us way more than we humor them! Regardless of the crowd, we have a fantastic time and enjoy getting to know our guests as much as they enjoy getting to know the selected wine! The best bottle of wine is one that comes with a story... While the winter months loom, we invite you to come out of the cold and join us for a wine table tasting. Give us a call in the office and we will be happy to let you know our availability. (262) 812-4080
